Friends & Family Breakfasts * New Process This Year *
Official Friends & Family Breakfast hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 9:00am. However, if you are a guest staying at the Summit, Huntley Lodge, Shoshone Condominiums or Village Center Hotel, breakfast is served daily from 6:30am – 10:30am.
Guests staying at the Summit at Big Sky: Breakfast is in the Peaks Restaurant at the Summit. Complimentary breakfast is tied to your room reservation. Simply give your name(s) when you arrive at the Peaks Dining Room in the Summit.
Guests staying at the Huntley Lodge, Shoshone Condominiums or Village Center Hotel: Breakfast is in the Huntley Dining Room. Complimentary breakfast is tied to your room reservation. Simply give your name(s) when you arrive at the Peaks Dining Room in the Summit.
All other registered Friends & Family Members: Friends & Family Breakfast is in the Huntley Dining Room. Breakfast vouchers are included in your welcome packet. Each person will need to present a voucher each day to receive the complimentary breakfast buffet.
Welcome Reception & Registration
Meet up with old friends and make new ones at the WTA Welcome Reception on Sunday, February 20, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the Missouri Ballroom at the Yellowstone Conference Center.
Kids Welcome Reception
The Kids Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday, February 20 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the Lone Peak Playhouse. Kid-friendly food, FUN and supervision will be provided. This is for kids ages 3-12 and fully potty trained. If kids younger than 3 want to attend, they must be accompanied by an adult age 18+. You will need to complete a waiver when you drop off your child.
All are welcome to attend Dr. Robert McIntyre’s Presidential Address, The VIPoma on Tuesday, February 22 at 5:00pm in the Missouri Ballroom.
The annual NASTAR Race will take place on Wednesday, February 23 from 10:00am – 1:00pm on Chet’s Knob. Sign-ups and waivers must be completed by Tuesday afternoon at the WTA Registration Desk. Open to skiers and snowboarders. Download the waiver in advance to save time. You will also need to complete the paper registration form in-person.
The Annual Mountain Picnic will take place in the Huntley Dining Room at from 11:30am- 1:30pm on Wednesday, February 23. Drop-in anytime between 11:30am – 1:30pm. Open to all meeting attendees & registered Friends & Family. This is an indoor event. You can ski down Chet’s Knob (NASTAR & WTA Gates of Glory location) to get to the Huntley Dining Room.
WTA Book Club
The WTA Book Club will take place on Wednesday, February 23 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm in the Lamar/Gibbon Room at the Yellowstone Conference Center. Join us to discuss Milkman by Anna Burns. Light refreshments will be served.
WTA Family Night
WTA Family Night will take place on Wednesday, February 23 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. We will use the Huntley Dining Room as home base to warm up with hot chocolate, popcorn & candy and head outdoors for the Ski Patrol Dog Demo and Enchanted Forest walk. Dress for the outdoors. Snow boots are strongly recommended for the Enchanted Forest.

“Paint the Ceiling” Lecture
The Paint the Ceiling Lecture will take place on Thursday, February 24, from 5:00pm – 6:00pm in the Missouri Ballroom at the Yellowstone Conference Center. Columbine: Tragedy to Triumph by Patrick Ireland. All are welcome.
WTA Kids Party
Drop the kids off at the Kids Party during the Banquet so you can enjoy dinner. Thursday, February 24, from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. For kids ages 3-12 & fully potty trained. You must sign-up in advance. Drop-off will take place in Lone Peak Playhouse, pick-up will be in the Amphitheater in the Conference Center. The kids will eat pizza, play games and watch a movie.
The Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, February 24, will begin with a cocktail reception from 7:00pm – 7:30pm followed by dinner at 7:30pm in Vista Hall.
