CURIOUS CRITTERS SKI SCHOOL
Gore Range Natural Science School Naturalists provide brief slope-side
lessons about Rocky Mountain Wildlife as part of the Curious Critters
Ski School. Each week programs focus on a different category of winter
critters including Climbers, Diggers, Jumpers and Flyers. Programs are
offered for ski school students and drop in visitors daily at the Nature
Discovery Center at Adventure Ridge, and on Mondays at the entrance
to Porcupine Alley from 1pm to 2:30pm and Tuesdays at the bottom of
Golden Peak from 1pm to 2:30pm. Look for the naturalist in the red jacket
and the “Stop for a Nature Lesson” sign.

KID'S SNOWMOBILE AT ADVENTURE RIDGE
Kids cruise around Blizzard Speedway in specially crafted mini-snowmobiles.
Designed for children 6-12 years of age and less than 110 pounds, the
snowmobiles travel at a child's preferred pace. $25 per person

LIFE ON THE WILD SIDE
Daily programs for Ski School and walk-in visitors! Drop by the Nature
Discovery Center anytime we're open for a fun-filled, five minute lesson
to learn about the feathered and furry creatures sharing the slopes
with you at Vail. Each week programs focus on a different category of

NATURE AT NIGHT
Meet at the Nature Discovery Center for a family friendly program full
of engaging activities and fascinating information about night creatures
at the ski area. Programs may include: Colorado Cats, Wily Weasels,
Eyes on Owls, and Howling at the Moon. No reservations required.

SNOWSHOEING FROM THE NATURE DISCOVERY CENTER
From animal tracks to the mountain pine bark beetle, the Nature Discovery
Center is your source for all things wild - including guided snowshoe
tours with an expert naturalist. See and learn about the wild side of
Vail in the most pristine of settings. No reservations required. Daily
AM snowshoe tours are offered through the Vail Resorts Nordic School.

TRAMPOLINE AT ADVENTURE RIDGE
This bouncing bungee harnessed trampoline sends you sky high so you can try out your acrobatic feats fearlessly. Dual trampolines make it fun to bounce with a friend. $10 per person

TUBING AT ADVENTURE RIDGE
Grab a tube, hop a lift, get a rush. Our multi-lane tubing hill whisks you downhill while the easy-access surface lift takes you back up quickly. $28 per person.

MOUNTAIN MUSHER DOGSLEDDING
A unique alpine adventure, available mornings and afternoons in the Cordillera area west of Beaver Creek. The tour lasts approximately two hours, covering about seven miles, transportation to and from Beaver Creek is included. For more information, call (970) 653-7877.

ADVENTURE RIDGE
Play in the afternoon and well into the night at Adventure Ridge with
ski bikes, kids snowmobile track, a slippery slope of rip-roaring tubing
lanes and more. A snow park the size of a football stadium on top of
the mountain and family food favorite Bistro Fourteen. The gondola runs
from breakfast till night. Drink hot chocolate and watch the sun set

IMAGINATION STATION
A Children's Museum for ages 2-12. Engage, explore, wonder and question.
The Imagination Station will be open Sunday through Friday from 10am
to 6pm throughout the ski season. Located in the loft above Subway in
Lionshead. $5 per child. Adults and Infants are Free.
If you are 3 or older - and potty trained - you can stay with Imagination Station
staff for up to 3 hours staff will guide you through a variety of activities
depending on your interest. Your parents can enjoy the Vail Valley while
you play and learn with us. To register or for more information contact

Parking is available for 90 minutes FREE in the Lionshead Parking Structure
and free after 3:00 p.m. for any length of stay.

Located in the Arrabelle at Vail Square in Lionshead, ice skating is available in the winter.

NORDIC ACTIVITIES
Explore the mountains in new and fun ways! It’s time for the other mountain experience. Need a day off the slopes? Maybe looking for something different? Try one of our Nordic experiences. Take a backcountry Snowshoe or backcountry skiing tour in the beautiful White River National Forest, or learn new skills like Telemark and Cross Country skiing.
